Short Term Training Programme on Basic Skills in Indian Sign Language for North East Region

ISLRTC is to conduct a 15 day Short Term Training Programme on Basic Skills in Indian Sign Language for Government officials and non-government personnel nominated by the State Govt of North East Region (viz Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).

The first training programme is scheduled to be held at ISLRTC, New Delhi from 1st March 2019 to 19 March 2019. The duration of the programme is 15 working days (Monday-Saturday) with 6 training hours each day (Total: 90 hours).

Course Fees

The fee for the said training programme is Rs 10,000/- per participant (which includes 2 times tea/refreshments, lunch, & training kit). The prescribed fees of Rs. 10,000/-  is to be paid to ISLRTC by Demand Draft drawn in favour of  'Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre' payable at New Delhi. The DD for fees will need to be submitted by the participants on the first day of the training, failing which they will not be allowed to attend the training programme.

Nomination/Registration

States from the North East Region (viz Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura) are to send nominations from organizations/individuals/concerned departments for this training programme in the enclosed nomination form.  The form must be duly signed by the Sponsoring Authority and sent by email to programme Nodal Officer, Dr. Sharita Sharma at sharitasharma@gmail.com

General Information

Accommodation and travel arrangements will need to be borne by the sponsoring organization/ individuals/ concerned department. No TA/DA will be paid by ISLRTC to the participants of the said training programme.
